How Can I Serve?

South River UMC is very active in missions and outreach to church members and throughout the community. Many  Volunteer opportunities Exist at South River. Check out a few that we offer below.

Food Pantry

South River hosts a Food Pantry providing confidential assistance to anyone seeking food and household supplies. Click here for more information.

Recycling Ministry

You can bring your empty aluminum cans to the church and deposit them in the recycled cans trailer, and, By doing so,  support the work of missions in our area.  The trailer is located at the back of the church property (at the end of the driveway). We ask that all donations to the trailer be made in plastic bags as this will make it easier to unload and weigh the cans. All proceeds from the sale of the aluminum cans will support local missions.
